Hartington village has pubs and cafes where lovely cream teas can be purchased and enjoyed. The High Peak and Tissington Trails are within easy reach with cycle hire. Carsington Water for sailing and watersports is within easy reach. Chatsworth the medieval Haddon Hall or in contrast Alton Towers fun park and spa can all be easily reached. Buxton renowned for its Opera House and Pavilion Gardens is a short drive away. You are also at the gateway to the Dales and the Peak District National Park the perfect place to enjoy long walks leisurely bike rides or horse riding in the quiet Derbyshire countryside. From the cottage some of the best walking in Derbyshire can be found. The Cottage has been lovingly renovated on entering the ground floor the sunny double bedroom has a brass bed and the twin bedroom has exposed beams. Upstairs there is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which provides everything you need for a relaxing stay. There is a comfy corner sofa situated next to the TV just waiting for you to put your feet up and relax. The kitchen area provides an electric oven and hob fridge with freezer compartment and microwave the dining area with table and chairs is a good spot for a lazy breakfast planning the day s activities ahead. Lastly the shower room with shower and WC can also be found on the first floor. Outside there is a walled patio area with garden furniture which is a great BBQ spot and off-road parking for one car. There is a field to the rear of property which can be used by guests if there is not livestock grazing. Need to know: 2 Bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin. 1 Shower room. Electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment. Towels are NOT provided. Off road parking for 1 car. 2 dogs welcome. Pub and shop within walking distance. TV in the lounge. Wi Fi included. Due to the rural location there is limited mobile signal.
