This pretty cottage sits attached to the owner s farmhouse in the heart of the Devon countryside. Children can help collect eggs and watch the cattle ponies lambs pigs and chickens all kept on site. The nearby village of Chulmleigh is a delight with its shops pubs riding stables and golf course just a short distance away. Further afield are the sandy beaches of Saunton and Woolacombe. Or enjoy the splendour of Dartmoor and Exmoor. Other attractions include The Milky Way The Big Sheep RHS Rosemoor Gardens and the Cobbaton Combat Museum. For outdoor enthusiasts there are plenty of walking and cycling opportunities why not hire bikes or take a ride on part of the pretty Tarka trail. There is a local rail line providing easy access to both Barnstaple and Exeter. Entering the cottage you are greeted by the warm and welcoming kitchen/diner with wooden floor and exposed beams. It is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob microwave dishwasher and fridge. Walking on through to the lounge which has a wood burner Smart TV and comfy seating this is the perfect place to relax after a busy day out. Five steps lead up to a half landing area offering rear access and storage for wellies boots coats and great spot to wipe muddy paws. A utility area can also be found on this level with a washing machine and WC. Heading up the wooden staircase from the kitchen/diner leads to the two spacious bedrooms both having exposed beams and country views the first is a king-size with en-suite shower room with shower and WC and a bunk room with en-suite shower room with shower and WC. Stepping outside there is a private patio and plenty of open lawn area to enjoy or wander over to the shared BBQ area with climbing tree scramble net tree swings climbing rope fire pit and hammock where you can relax on the garden furniture. A walk across the meadow is a fenced wildlife pond with cosy shelter. Please note children must be accompanied. There is off-road parking for two cars. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 bunk bedroom. 2 en suite shower rooms and 1 separate WC. Electric oven and hob microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Utility area with washing machine and WC. Wood burner (all logs included). Electric and bio mass central heating included. Off road parking for 2 cars. Wi Fi included. 2 dogs welcome. Pub and shop 4 miles. Smart TV in lounge. Guests are welcome to explore the farm, watch the animals, explore the 22 acres of natural pasture land and the wildlife pond with permission from the owners.
