The peaceful rural village of St Weonards is an ideal base to explore the Wye Valley and Royal Forest of Dean. You are well served with a wealth of trails that can be explored on foot cycle or horseback from your front door along with a well-stocked village store. A traditional village inn is situated within the neighbouring village of Garaway where you can enjoy a drink with the locals after exploring Garaway Hill said to be one of the most beautiful places in Herefordshire where on a clear day you can enjoy views across five counties whilst enjoying the local wildlife. Also within easy reach the Offa s Dyke you ll find Wye Valley Way and the Forest of Dean as well as horse riding and kayaking which are available on the River Monnow and River Wye. The vibrant town of Monmouth offers shops pubs and restaurants and the surrounding area has many castles including Monmouth Goodrich & Raglan Castles as well as numerous beautiful churches including the remains of the stunning Tintern Abbey just half an hour away. Enjoy the views across the paddocks where horses graze before you step inside the property. The entrance hall offers a place to sit where you remove your boots and hang your coats after a day exploring.
