For something more relaxing the village of Bigbury-on-Sea is 9 miles south of the property and has a stunning sandy beach with access to Burgh Island at low tide. Other nearby attractions and places of interest in the area include the historic naval city of Plymouth Exeter famed for its stunning cathedral and shopping Woodlands Adventure Park Paignton Zoo Dartmoor National Park Dartmouth Steam Railway Torre Abbey and numerous National Trust properties. Step inside this charming property on the ground floor where you will find yourself in the entrance hall leading to the ground floor shower room with shower and WC. Follow the hallway to the lovely kitchen which has everything you need to create a family meal. Here you will find an electric oven and hob fridge/freezer microwave dishwasher and a dining area. At the rear of the property on the ground floor are the two beautiful bedrooms: a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) with a single bed and a twin room. Moving up the stairs to the first floor will take you to the open-plan lounge/diner a wonderful open space complete with original beams and a mezzanine area for those looking for a quiet spot to sit and read with countryside views. The lounge has plenty of comfortable seating surrounding the Smart TV for all guests to unwind after a busy day exploring the local area and a wood burner to keep cosy during the winter evenings. There is also another shower room with shower and WC located on this floor as well as a small utility area featuring a washing machine and an area to dry clothes. Outside the property there is a small enclosed garden with seating a great spot to take in the sun or for some evening al fresco dining around the fire pit. There is also a lovely lawned area which is perfect for guests with a dog or for children wanting to play outside. There is off-road parking for two cars located at the side of the property. Guests will also be able to walk around the designated areas of the farm to see the poultry peacock and pigs.
