This stylish cottage is situated in the lovely village of Walkington which benefits from two pubs and a village shop/post office just a stones throw away. The market town of Beverley is close by with its Minster Racecourse and other attractions complemented with great shopping including the Flemingate Centre Georgian Quarter and markets. A multitude of restaurants also caters for all tastes with most delivering to the village. The nearby Wolds Way makes this the perfect base for cyclists and walkers alike as this beautiful part of Yorkshire provides an abundance of nature trails and cycle routes. Take a day to explore the East Yorkshire coastline perfect for families to enjoy a day by the sea or head into Hull (city of culture 2017) an increasingly vibrant city and home of award-winning The Deep as well as many other attractions. A little further afield lies the historic town of York. Leave your muddy boots and coats in the porch and enter the spacious lounge with comfortable furniture and Smart TV. Moving through to the kitchen/diner which is well-equipped with everything you could need during your stay including an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and wine fridge. Upstairs you will find two beautiful bedrooms one double with views over the neighbouring paddock and one 2 6 twin zip-and-link (which can be made up as a king-size on request). Finishing the property is a bright and spacious bathroom with shower-over-bath and WC. French doors from the kitchen/diner lead out to a delightful patio area with furniture. The space is a real sun-trap and the perfect place to sit and enjoy a BBQ and a glass of wine in the evening after a long day of exploring. There is a private parking space for one car and visitor bays available when free. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin 2'6" which can be made as a king size zip and link, if a king size bed is requested, please note the bed is only accessible from one side. 1 bathroom with shower over the bath and WC. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, wine fridge. Welcome pack on arrival. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Smart TV in the lounge.
