The property s Mid-Devon location means that many of the region s best-loved attractions are within easy reach including: Dartmoor National Park which is just six miles away; the cathedral city of Exeter and the National Trust property of Castle Drogo 10 miles to the south. For family days out Lydford Gorge Pennywell Farm Finch Foundry and Dingles Vintage Fairground are all close by. Step inside this beautiful thatched cottage to find yourself in the lounge a cosy space with plenty of seating for all guests and a wood burner effect gas fire to keep warm during those colder evenings. With original wood beams and features this is a great spot to relax with the family in front of the TV with games consoles after a day of exploring all that Devon has to offer. Moving towards the back of the cottage leads you to the kitchen/diner a convenient place for a home cooked meal. The kitchen comprises of an electric oven and gas hob dishwasher washing machine and microwave. Also on the ground floor at the back of the cottage is the bathroom which consists of a shower over the bath and WC. Heading to the first floor up a flight of wooden stairs brings you to the two bedrooms a beautiful double bedroom complete with a TV for those lazy mornings and a twin bedroom both with original cottage features. Heading outside the back door brings you to a fantastic enclosed garden with plenty of space to relax on the different areas of seating or the small summer house. The garden is a great sun trap with a patio and lawned area along with a picnic and BBQ area the ideal spot to enjoy a drink in the sun and for your four legged friend to stretch their legs. There is also a charcoal BBQ for some al fresco dining. Roadside parking outside (subject to availability) or there is a local car park 200 yards up the road (free of charge). Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin. 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
