Situated on the Devon/Cornwall border you will be perfectly placed to explore both counties. Head towards the coast and visit the superb sandy beaches at Bude (15.5 miles) ever popular with families and surfers or explore the wild beauty of Dartmoor (22 miles) with its wonderful scenery offering fabulous walking and wonderful views. Roadford Lake (7 miles) is a short drive away and offers fishing walking and sailing activities. The market towns of Holsworthy (6 miles) Launceston (12 miles) and Okehampton (14 miles) are all within an easy driving distance. Other places of interest accessible from here include the historic maritime city of Plymouth (37 miles) the Eden Project (45 miles) and numerous National Trust properties and gardens. Venture inside this wooden lodge and you are immediately welcomed into the open-plan living space. Here comfortable sofas area arranged in front of a Smart TV and provide the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring. The dining area offers a lovely venue for relaxed family meals and the inclusion of a set of French doors leading to a decked veranda also means that you can dine alfresco with ease during warm weather. The kitchen is well appointed and equipped with a great range of appliances including an electric oven and gas hob microwave fridge with an ice compartment and a dishwasher. Head back towards the rear of the property where you will find the rest of the accommodation handily arranged. On the same level are the two bedrooms the first a king-size with an en-suite shower and WC and the second a twin (which can be made up as a king-size on request) also with an en-suite shower room with WC. Heading outside you will discover the gorgeous surroundings. Firstly an enclosed decked veranda which is gated making it ideal for little ones or pets. Here you can sit and enjoy the views from the garden table and chairs. Steps lead down to a private lawn area where you can relax BBQ or play ball games or badminton. Enjoy views towards the owner s lake across the fields or why not by arrangement collect the eggs from the owner s hens on site. Children and adults alike can experience a taste of the country life. Private off-road parking for one car (further by arrangement) is provided next to the property. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 twin (which can be made up as a king size on request). 2 en suite shower rooms with WC. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and dishwasher. Travel cot and highchair available. Smart TV in the lounge area. Wi Fi included.
