This property is situated just outside Westward Ho! with the town s two mile wide beach situated within a fifteen minute walk. Behind the beach Northam Burrows Country Park offers a wonderful backdrop for scenic walks amongst the sand dunes and saltmarshes surrounded by a wide range of wildlife. The pretty village of Appledore is just under two miles away and makes a lovely place to spend an afternoon watching the boats in the harbour and trying the local ice cream or perhaps catching the ferry across the estuary to the neighbouring village of Instow. The larger town of Bideford is also close by with a range of independent shops scattered along its attractive narrow streets. This upside down style property is accessed via a flight of external stairs which lead to the first floor living area of the property here guests will find the spacious kitchen/diner area. Here guests will find all the equipment they need including an electric oven and gas hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and a second TV. This floor has two double bedrooms accessed via a hallway which had an extra pull-out bed for a child which can be set up by request at the time of booking. The bathroom on this floor has a shower over bath and WC. Heading up the open-sided stairs to the comfortable lounge with its cosy woodburner-effect electric fire TV/DVD and patio doors which lead out to the property s patio which has sea glimpses. One of the property s three bedrooms is also located on this floor a double that benefits from an en-suite bathroom with bath separate shower cubicle and WC. This property also has a separate utility room on the ground floor which houses the washing machine and tumble dryer with ample storage space handy for storing beach equipment. Outside there is a patio-balcony which is accessed via the lounge offering sea glimpses making it the perfect place to sit out and enjoy alfresco drinks. There is parking provided for one car and a second vehicle may be accommodated by prior arrangement with the owner. Need to know: 3 double bedrooms. 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC. 1 en suite bathroom to the first floor bedroom with bath, separate shower, and WC. TV/DVD, plus additional set in the kitchen/diner. Wi Fi included. Oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. Electric and heating included. Stairgates provided at top and bottom of stairs. Please note, the stairs are open sided. Please ensure children are supervised. 2 dog welcome. Parking for 1 car (possibly 2 on request). Beach 15 minute walk, shop and pub 5 minute walk.
