You could also catch a ferry across to the neighbouring resort town of Torquay. Brixham has an interesting array of restaurants many of which specialise in locally-caught seafood. Those with an interest in history will enjoy jumping on board the town s replica of the Golden Hind or learning about the area s chequered history by following the eye-opening Blackbeard s Trail.
