The bungalow is situated in the pretty village of Blindcrake opposite the village green. The property sits in an acre garden with views across stunning Skiddaw. There are some fabulous walks from the front door for those who like a tipple and are keen walkers The Lakeland Distillery is just four miles away and offers a great day out. William Wordsworth s birthplace Cockermouth is just four miles away it is a pretty little town with a great selection of independent shops restaurants and supermarkets. Beautiful Bassenthwaite Lake is under five miles away there is a shore path which runs the length of the West shore and an open-air theatre at Mirehouse which is worth a visit. From the bright hallway you will find the open-plan lounge/kitchen the lounge has the most amazing views over Skiddaw from a large picture window. The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob microwave dishwasher washing machine and fridge/freezer. From the kitchen there is a conservatory to the back of the property which overlooks the garden and is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast while watching the birds and wildlife. There are three bedrooms accessed from the hallway a king-size bedroom with views across Skiddaw a double bedroom and a twin with built in wardrobes which overlook the garden. At the end of the hallway opposite the lounge there is a family bathroom with a walk in shower and WC. There is decking to the front of the house to sit out and enjoy the views and a large garden with a small stream which runs near the bottom of the gated entrance. There is access either from the rear of the property or from the village via a hard core track and ample private parking for up to three cars.
