It offers a great base for exploring the Rhins peninsula ideal for visiting the Mull of Galloway Scotland s Most southerly point this is around 40 minutes away. Here you can enjoy the amazing views from the top of the lighthouse there is also a RSPB centre and you will find Scotland s most southerly coffee house built right on the cliff edge! Culzean Castle Galloway Forest Park Kirkcudbright are also worth a visit and there is a Iron Age Roundhouse. Belfast with its ever-popular Titanic Centre is also easily reached by ferry. There is an award-winning restaurant within walking distance from the cottage where guests are offered a discount to dine here booking is recommended. As you enter the property you will walk into a small lobby where you will find the bathroom which has a shower over the bath and WC. Next is the kitchen which is bright and spacious with a large Gas Range electric oven microwave washing machine and fridge. Walking into the hallway you will find a double bedroom with garden views and a single room next door which has lovely French doors into the garden. Further along the corridor is the cosy lounge with Sky TV and Freeview sofa and lovely multi fuel burner the perfect place to relax at the end of a busy day out and about. At the end of the hallway is a second double bedroom which has a built-in wardrobe. There is a large enclosed garden with a lawn patio and decking there are lots of options to sit out on a summers evening and dine al fresco watch the sunset or star gaze.
